Discount Day Camp

Discount Day Camp is a good choice for those who prefer not to ride horses or are looking for a great camp experience on a budget. Campers enjoy a full day of all activities with the exception of riding horses.

Weekly sessions run all summer from June 6th through August 15th Weekly Rate: $200.00

Day Camp With One Ride

Day Camp With One Ride offers campers 4 days at Morton's Warm Springs doing all camp activities plus 1 day at McDonald Ranch learning and interacting with the animals on our 55-acre sanctuary. At McDonald Ranch, campers will milk a goat, care and groom horses, take a horse ride, collect chicken eggs and other farm related activities during the morning and then swim in the afternoon. This is a great choice for campers who want to experience a little of everything.

Weekly sessions run all summer from June 6th through August 15th Weekly Rate: $230.00

Regular Day Camp With 2 Rides:

Regular Day Camp is for campers who want more time with horses. Campers will spend 4 days at Morton's Warm Springs doing all the other camp activities plus have 1 day at McDonald Ranch focused on equestrian related activities such as learning colors, breeds, how to clean tack and care for horses. Campers will have a choice of learning about other farm animals or spending a full day at the stables. They will also have 1 riding lesson and 1 trail ride.

Weekly sessions run all summer from June 6th through August 15th Weekly Rate: $250.00

Counselor-In-Training (Ages 12 - 18)

Spending a summer as a camp counselor is a great way for teens to gain work experience and can provide a great job each summer as they go through college. But, its not as easy as it may seem. In addition to becoming certified in 1st Aid and CPR, camp counselors need to learn team building, risk management, commitment, have excellent social skills and be able to problem solve as well as maintain a high level of energy. The leadership skills developed during these sessions of training will be an asset to any participant who invests their time to gain experience far beyond typical youth work experience. Even though our CIT program is offered on a weekly session basis, it is intended to be a summer long program with each week building and teaching more skills. Positions in our CIT program are limited to participants who submit and who are chosen from an application and interview process.

Horse Day Camp (Ages 8 years and older)

Our Horse Day Camp is best suited for beginning riders and those wanting to not only learn to ride but also how to care for a horse. Campers spend their entire week at McDonald Ranch riding 2 times each day. The balance of their day is spent learning about horses and their care. Horse Day Campers have the option of swimming in the afternoon or participating in afternoon activities at the stable area.

Week long Horse Day Camps are offered for the following weeks only:
June 20th, June 27th, July 11th, July 18th and July 25th Weekly Rate: $350.00
