- SUMMER DAY CAMPS
- Play, Learn, Explore! Qualified Horseback Riding Lessons, Swimming & Water Games, Exciting Go-Kart Rides, Hands-On Arts & Crafts (ceramics, lapidary, photography, scrapbooking), Kitten & Puppy Love, Archery, Animal Sciences, Cooking, Unique Field Trip Adventures, Trampoline, Wilderness Exploration. Round-Trip Shuttle from Badger Park in Rincon Valley, Petaluma & Rohnert Park!
- Ages 5-12.
- Mondays-Fridays, 8am-5pm.
- June 6th thru August 15th.
- Day Camps $200; Riding Camps $230 - $250.
- HORSE DAY CAMP
- Horse Lovers, this is for YOU! Daily riding lessons taught by experienced trainers, plus an additional hour of free riding or a lovely, forested trail ride each day. Students will be assigned their own horse to love and care for during their week of participation to learn equestrian management, maintenance, grooming, and proper safety techniques. Students also have the option to enjoy day camp activities such as swimming, go-karting, ATV rides, cooking, domestic and farm animal husbandry, art and crafts, archery and more. Round-trip shuttle from Badger Park in Rincon Valley, Petaluma and Rohner Park!
- Cost is $350/week (INCLUDES helmet and riding boot rental)
- Ages 7-16.
- Mondays-Fridays, 8am-5pm.

- COUNSELOR IN TRAINING (CIT)
- McDonald Ranch's CIT Program is a comprehensive training course teaching life skills and responsibility with a goal of becoming a junior summer camp counselor throughout high school years. Participant requirements: minimum of a 1-week commitment at $130/week including a 20-hour training learning camp standards, risk management and drills, emergency and safety procedures, decision making, team building, camper behavior, leadership styles, and more. Also required is an agreement with an adult willing to car-pool with other CIT families, Parents must attend an informational orientation.
- Ages 11-16.
- Mondays-Fridays, 8am-5pm.
- June 6th thru August 1st

- Youth members may choose to be involved each day after school and Saturdays or any part of the program depending on need, interest and availability of youth. Selection into the Counselor in Training Program is through an application and interview process. Please go here to apply: CIT Application
- YOUNG ADULT & YOUTH VOLUNTEER CAMP
- Mature teens & college students interested in helping kids and animals, having fun and making friends! Drive kids on Go-Karts, supervise and participate in pool games, assist kids in art projects, & more! Other duties: vacuum pool, groom & tack horses, muck stalls, and help with landscaping and gardening. Be part of a team of enthusiastic young adults from all over the world! Experience a memorable summer filled with achievement and purpose! Must attend 1-week 40-hour training program at $130, have own transportation, and be consistently available minimum of 2 weeks of summer.
- Ages 16-25.
